Autumn Harvest Acres is a Red Deer Farm in central Wisconsin, started in 1993. Four generations of Sieglers ages five to 82 work with our Red Deer and in our venison business. We raise lean, tender, healthful farm raised red deer venison and sell fresh frozen cuts and 100% venison products such as sausage, jerky, snack sticks and smoked ham. Red Deer are native to Europe and have been farmed there for centuries, known as food for nobility. They are an ancient animal with a long history as a coveted food source. Now, Red Deer are farmed extensively in New Zealand and other countries to supply the ever growing demand for farm raised venison throughout the world. The demand for this healthy and superb tasting gourmet red meat is out-pacing supply. Red Deer farming has a promising future in North America as an alternative agriculture livestock. Our Red Deer are grown naturally on Wisconsin pastures without chemicals, hormones or antibiotics. They browse on grasses, forages and a carefully formulated vegetable based feed supplement chocked full of grains and minerals. No animal by products used. Our gourmet venison is government inspected, vacuum packed and flash frozen to ensure quality.
